Nichia Language School (hereinafter referred to as “Nichia”) believes that it is our social responsibility to appropriately protect the personal information of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and other persons related to our school, and promotes the following measures.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The school will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and related ordinances.
Handling of Personal Information
When collecting personal information, we will clarify the purpose of its use and obtain the consent of the individual to whom the personal information pertains.
In the same manner as the use of personal information, we will only provide or entrust personal information to third parties with the consent of the individual concerned.
When we receive requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, notification of purpose of use, or refusal to use or provide personal information, we will respond promptly within reasonable limits.
In order to study at a Japanese language school in Japan, you must hold a JLPT N5 or higher certificate, or have completed more than 150 hours of Japanese language study at a Japanese language school in your country.
